How to Wear Peplum - Casually with a Belt, Shorts & Sandals

Dress down a lace or a peplum top with a vintage or casual belt. The belt that I styled in this look was found at a thrift shop and features Southwestern-inspired details. I tied in the colors of the belt with my tan colored sandals, and kept the look casual with denim shorts. Here are the details on the outfit:

Mixing Stripe and Floral Prints

A fun way to mix prints is with stripes and florals. Usually stripes can seamlessly pair with other prints; in this look, I styled a thinly striped button down tucked into an abstract, floral printed skirt. This look works well because the stripe pattern of the top is symmetrical and simple which balances the bold floral print of the skirt. Topshop Floral Print Dress for a Spring Event

I attended a dinner hosted by the House of Marnier-Lapostolle at the Center Club the other night with Andrew and can't wait to share my experience with you! I got to taste Grand Marnier's Grande Cuv�e Collection and fine wines with a 5-course dinner curated by Master Distiller Patrick Raguenaud. The event was 'cocktail attire', and when I think cocktail attire, I imagine a little black dress or a dark colored number with metallic details. To not play into the typical cocktail dress, I wore a flowy dark floral printed dress cinched at the waist and dressed up the look with a flashy, hologram printed clutch and black platform heels. I usually don't style my hair but because it had enough texture to it, I teased my crown a bit more and french braided the rest of my hair, pinning the bottom into a side bun. Spring 2015 Wedding Style in DTLA

I recently attended my Tri Delta Lil Sis's wedding and reception at the beautiful Oviatt Penthouse in Downtown Los Angeles and wanted to share my wedding style. I didn't want to wear a gown or maxi-length dress, so I chose this beautiful sky blue colored dress that had a very lady like neckline, 3/4 sleeves, a-line skirt and pocket detail.

Printed Pants & Pink Lips

I shot with Shawna from Bleudog Fotography a couple weeks ago and was excited to rock my then new, blue hair and pieces from Triple Thread OC and Constance Gold. We found this beautiful gate on one of the sides of the Mission San Juan Capistrano, and behind the gate were pops of a deep pink hue from the bougainvillea trees, which worked perfectly with my neutral outfit and pink lips. I absolutely love the fit and the print of the pants, and I tucked in my soft tank (which has a rad back detail) into the pants. I dressed the look up with a pair of Steve Madden heels, and gave it my touch with some fringe from my Constance Gold backpack. Happy Friday! Got any plans this weekend? Blue Tie Dye Dress for Coachella Parties

When I attended Coachella day parties last Saturday during Weekend 1, I was excited to get to rock this PJ Salvage Tie-Dye Dress as it is quite fitting for the Coachella style. I received it as apart of my #Blogchella Survival Kit and the dress was very breezy, comfy, and I didn't own anything like it before. I styled the dress with camel colored sandals, mint sunnies, and a statement zinc necklace. The photos were taken at one of my fave hotels, The Saguaro in Palm Springs; I just swoon over all the colorful places in and around the hotel. Also, have you noticed that my hair is a different color?
