Sara Happ and Sugarfina Summer Celebration in Beverly Hills

Sara Happ hosted a Summer Celebration at candy store Sugarfina in Beverly Hills in which guests enjoyed sweets (of course), cocktails by Purity Vodka, and Sara Happ lip scrubs and touch ups by Glam Squad. I enjoyed a watermelon mojito while perusing Sugarfina's shelves and what seemed like endless displays of the most beautiful gourmet sweets. Owners Rosie and Josh travel the world to bring the latest, greatest, and sweetest candies to their shops. Sara Happ is the creator of the cult classic, The Lip Scrub, and her various lip scrubs combined on display among the candy created a very delectable and inviting surrounding (I didn't want to leave, but did get maxed out on sweets).

Sweater Tank with Shorts & a Pop of Jewelry

Lauren, the designer of The Two Hand Exchange based out of Orange County, CA, makes the prettiest handcrafted jewelry using gemstones and mixed metals. She sent me a few pieces and I styled a ring and lariat druzy stone necklace with this navy and white outfit. For some reason, this knit top was giving me nautical vibes, so I roughed it up a bit with washed out, distressed denim cut-off shorts and tied a top around my waist. Summer Purpose Trunk Show at Wayfare HQ in Costa Mesa

iSancutary hosted their Summer Purpose Trunk Show last night at Wayfare HQ in Costa Mesa. Guests enjoyed live music while shopping Purpose Jewelry's Classic and Summer Collections as well as a 'Last Chance' section. Refreshing beverages and People Water were available, and Best Coast Creamery sold their artisanal ice cream.
Founder Stephanie Pollaro led a DIY jewelry making sesh so I got to make a beaded tassel bracelet. All the attendees also got to view a special video featuring the women behind Purpose Jewelry and how the Sanctuary in Mumbai has and continues to help them create a new and better life. Floral Print Maxi Dress for Summer

I'm currently in Sacramento, visiting our state's Capitol! If anyone has any suggestiosn on places to eat or things to do, please tweet me! I wanted to share the second look out of the three summer style outfits I styled from OC Goodwill Boutique finds at their Huntington Beach location. I think floral print screams Spring/Summer fashion and the brighter the colors, the better. I tend to go for a slight abstract print, so I like how this floral print almost looks like watercolor. The blue clutch complemented the blue hues of the dress perfectly, and I threw on a cheery yellow kimono-like wrap just in case it got chilly. Wearing espadrille wedges keeps the hem of the dress from dragging on the ground, and adds some height. Read more about the look here.
