Oversized Vest with a Romper for Summer

This romper/playsuit seems to be my go-to when visiting LA, I last wore it here and here. It just makes it easy to throw on and wear out as a chic and vibrant but not overly loud outfit. For this outfit, I played down the tropical print with an oversized white vest, but did highlight a color of the tropical print with my rust-colored booties.

Floral Shift Dress in the Heat

Sacramento could have had me fooled for being an Arizonian city because it was unbelievably hot and dry when I visited last month. I'm so very glad I brought this light, floral printed shift dress; which had me feeling like a desert rose. I had also received a druzy lariat necklace from The Two Hand Exchange before leaving for SacTown, and it perfectly complemented my dress. Details on the look below:

Sweater Tank with Shorts & a Pop of Jewelry

Lauren, the designer of The Two Hand Exchange based out of Orange County, CA, makes the prettiest handcrafted jewelry using gemstones and mixed metals. She sent me a few pieces and I styled a ring and lariat druzy stone necklace with this navy and white outfit. For some reason, this knit top was giving me nautical vibes, so I roughed it up a bit with washed out, distressed denim cut-off shorts and tied a top around my waist. Wearing Stripes & a Pop Of Color for Summer

Happy Monday everyone! I wanted to share the last look out of three for the summer outfits that I styled for the OC Goodwill Blog. Rock a bold stripe pattern this summer by pairing it with a bright color bottom. In this look styled with items from the new OC Goodwill Boutique in Huntington Beach, a sheer black and white striped blouse was worn with a pleated, flow-y coral colored skirt. Floral Print Maxi Dress for Summer

I'm currently in Sacramento, visiting our state's Capitol! If anyone has any suggestiosn on places to eat or things to do, please tweet me! I wanted to share the second look out of the three summer style outfits I styled from OC Goodwill Boutique finds at their Huntington Beach location. I think floral print screams Spring/Summer fashion and the brighter the colors, the better. I tend to go for a slight abstract print, so I like how this floral print almost looks like watercolor. The blue clutch complemented the blue hues of the dress perfectly, and I threw on a cheery yellow kimono-like wrap just in case it got chilly. Wearing espadrille wedges keeps the hem of the dress from dragging on the ground, and adds some height. Read more about the look here.

Summer Outfit for the Beach to Street with OC Goodwill

I was thrilled when the Goodwill of Orange County asked me to blog about summer style featuring outfits from their newly revamped OC Goodwill Boutique in Huntington Beach. I attended the grand opening day which was a mad house, but hey, at least the opening was a success, customers were snagging up great finds, and it all benefited the community and Goodwill cause. This location marks OC Goodwill's third boutique location and it's huge, which is why I found so many great pieces to style summer outfits.

This first look out of three features a sheer, printed top with shoulder detail. I wanted to put together an outfit that was relaxed, but fashion forward and could seamlessly be worn from the sandy beach to a lunch date at a chic cafe.

I wore the top off one shoulder and over a simple bikini top. I finished the look with mint colored shorts that matched the print of the top, tan espadrille platforms, and a backpack. Visit the OC Goodwill blog to read more about this look and how it's a great beach to street look.
