Renee and I, along with other influencers, editors and stylists previewed label Line + Dot's Summer 2015 collection at Verve Coffee in DTLA on Thursday June 25th. While checking out pieces from the collection, we got to enjoy cocktails by Pattern Bar and Ole Smoky and snacks from Proyo Treats. I had the 'Halfway to LA' braid done by 901too, and Judy Heavenly did tarot card and palm readings. Floral decor was provided by one of my faves, Bloom That, and a fun .gif Photo Booth by HotPoint for photo ops was at our disposable. DJ Kay was also spinning tracks throughout the night. Check out my next post to see which Line + Dot piece I got to take home with me.

Black & White Outfit in LA's Arts District
Happy Monday! I've been obsessing over my Bloom That flowers which I shared in my last post and had received at the Whitney Eve Summer 15 Preview. I wanted to include pics from my LA casual look that I wore the day of the preview. I took the train from OC to LA that morning and wanted to be comfy but still put together. I wore black, distressed skinny jeans; a white sweater with a open back detail and my go-to black booties. My neutral black and white look really popped against the graffiti walls of LA's Arts District. Here are the details:
Dapper Vintage Inspired Round Sunglasses in Tortoise Smoke, ZeroUV
Split-Hem Sweater in Optic White, GAP Factory
Distressed Black Skinny Jeans, ZARA
Black Booties w/Fringe, Mango

Bloom That Flower Delivery
While previewing the Whitney Eve Summer 15 Collection in DTLA, there was a beautiful ladder display of blooms that instantly brightened the room. Bloom That, a flower delivery service, were providing guests with beautiful flower bouquets and I got to take home The Carlin, a bouquet filled with peonies, roses, lilies, and various fresh greens. I was instantly drawn in by the impeccable packing which assured me that my flowers wouldn't get damaged taking them home. Once I opened the package, my blooms were wrapped in burlap and tied with a bow. The stems were bundled in a moist sponge and also came with the 'flower food'.
Bloom That designs their flowers around what is in-season and sourcing locally as much as possible; a curated selection of bouquets and floral designs are released in collections, and you can shop and send their latest collection here. Download the app or order online! Use code BLOOMNOW and receive 30% off your first order!
